The CMC forum exists as a place for those interested in the role of Computer-Mediated Communication (CMC) in language learning and teaching.  Feel free to use any of the information you find here, but do give credit where it is due!  Also, PLEASE post your own contributions to the forum--I'm sure you have some ideas well worth sharing!!

By following the link to "FORUM" in the bar up near the top of the page you'll find the forum itself, with postings under a number of categories.  The majority of the forum discusses various modes of CMC, including:

*Email
*Message Boards
   *MUDs/MOOs/WOOs
*Virtual Worlds and MMOGs
*Blogs
*Podcasts
*Wikis

*Audio Telefony, and
*Video Chat

You'll also find categories for general information on how to use the forum, a place for questions, a section for language exchange sites, and boards for critical reviews of technology and entire language teaching units utilizing CMC.
