Tips for Intensive Reading
« on: May 01, 2021, 01:22:51 AM »
This website has some helpful tips for those trying out Intensive Reading as a strategy, or for teachers who want to give their students tips. https://www.lucalampariello.com/intensive-vs-extensive-reading/

In summary, the texts should be short, as to avoid burnout, but also interesting, to stick to it for the short amount of time (roughly 30 minutes) you will be intensively reading for. Good resources to use include news articles, Wikipedia articles, short stories, blog posts, and perhaps even fables (my own addition to the list).
