This is great....it is hard to come across rubrics for reading that are so detailed (at least for me anyway)  :)  I will definitely be using this as a guide for my Final Lesson Plan, which requires extensive reading.  Thank You...

 A quiz I created for students to later use as a guide while writing their research papers. The quiz covers important details, specific to APA style writing, that students will need to be familiar with in order to produce a well written Problem-Solution research paper. The quiz is divided into FOUR parts: 

1.  Formatting & Style (font size, margins, page numbers, etc.)

2.  Indentations (Hanging Vs. Regular)

3.  Reference Page

4.  Quotations, Summaries, Paraphrasing (similarities and differences)

A 50 minute lesson plan on Proofreading and Revision, including Warm-up discussion questions and a handout on proofreading guidelines.  [Created for an advanced ESL writing course at the college entry level]

This is a great PPt on how to provide meaningful feedback to ESL students.  The first few slides are an overview of What the meaning of feedback is.  Especially look at slide 34.

SUMMARIZING: 


> Answer the following questions with your partner.


    WHAT is the problem?
    WHERE is this happening?
    WHY does this problem need to be solved?
    WHO is effected the most by this problem?
    WHEN did people become aware of this problem? When did this issue becomea problem?

> Formulate your answers into ONE clear, coherent paragraph.


> Exchange your paragraphs with other groups and discuss the following:


    1) Differences and Similarities
    2) What is missing
    3) What is not factual


> Individually complete a final paragraph summarizing the article, using the input you have received from your peers.
