Persuasive Peer Editing Sheet
« on: February 23, 2011, 01:22:40 PM »
Here is a persuasive peer editing sheet.  But, this can easily be turned into any kind of writing (narrative, expository, creative perhaps).  This particular peer editing sheet asks specific questions.  It is also kind of fun when you give students different colored pens to mark up their partner's paper (i.e. underline the hook with a blue pen).  This peer editing sheet also focuses on different parts of speech (specifically pronouns, however, you can add more).
Students would need to be familiar with different types of hooks in an introduction.  If you do not cover that in your class, you can always make it more general (does the paper start with a hook/does the paper have an effective introduction?).
