if the student does the predictions based on title activity for their prereading, then it makes sense that for the final activity we would do a reflection on the reading and whether it matches the predictions they made, or rather how it relates to the predictions they made because an article like this  a person might not be able to guess a whole lot about the article from the title. But they could probably be related to the actual meetings of the articles.
This would probably be done through either writing or class discussion depending on what they do for the prereading activity.

First, prompt students to reflect on the text individually.
  • What parts of the reading were easy or hard to understand?
  • What was interesting?
  • What strategies did you use when reading?
After students have had ample time to write a short reflection (may vary depending on proficiency level), allow them to share their thoughts in a class discussion. Draw attention to positive reading strategies to encourage metacognition.

This activity showcases reflection and judging one's own reading strategies. In other words, students are evaluating their own procedures for reading (metacognitive and procedural).

Nalaka. Sarah Martin, Rachita

One part of a post reading activity can be a trip to an observatory and see a telescope and see how distance is measured in light years.

Also reflecting on what they learned. They can also actually use their knowledge calculate distance between planents or earth and moon. ( depending what they learned ).
