Mad Libs
« on: April 16, 2019, 08:07:07 PM »
A mad lib can help students learn and practice the different types of words that exist, such as nouns, verbs, etc. It is a fun activity that encourages students to focus on form rather than semantics. It is also fun to see the end results because the stories can be semantically strange. If they want to redo the mad lib in order to have a story that makes sense, then the students can also choose different categories of words in context, rather than just blindly choosing. Attached is a simple mad lib that should be fun for students to try out and see what fun stories they can come up with.
