Analyzing Characters
« on: April 16, 2019, 07:15:26 PM »
In order to fully understand reading materials, it is good to step back and analyze the characters as well. Therefore, the students have a deeper understanding of the reading and why some characters behave the way that they do. Not only will they learn what character traits are, but they can use self discovery to infer what inside and outside traits are. After students complete this worksheet, it would be a good idea to discuss in partners and as a big group. This would be the time to define inside and outside traits, so the students will know exactly what they are and see if they were able to guess correctly. Attached is a worksheet that will help students practice determining what character traits exist and whether they are inside or outside traits.
