Describing Characters' Emotions
« on: September 24, 2009, 02:29:41 PM »
This is a pre-writing lesson that helps learners express emotions in English.
They will learn about four different ways of expressing emotions by reading and discussing text excerpts in groups and will be asked to write a paragraph that describes an imaginary or real character's feelings.

See attachment for a more detailed lesson plan and materials that can be used in this lesson.

Although this particular lesson targets high proficiency learners, this lesson can be adapted to lower proficiency levels by choosing different text excerpts and providing more contextual and vocabulary support.  ;)

Hope this will be an enjoyable lesson!
