For a language person, science is always difficult area to teach.
When I was teaching in high school in Korea, one story of the textbook was about astronauts' life in Space station. Some part was hard to understand because of too much modification.
After searching the web, I found the original story in NASA web page and I finally could understand the ambiguous part of modified story.
I brought the original material to class and showed some parts to help their understanding.

NASA site has affluent authentic materials and one advantage is they provide materials for different age groups. So it will be easier for teachers to choose the right level of materials according to their student's reading proficiency.

Here is the site;

along this, I love national geographic site, their visual material is awesome.
