The 2021 LaunchPad's winner (https://www.hawaii.edu/news/2021/02/26/tech-helps-kids-learn-languages/) has been Fabulingua. A website and mobile app that uses fables and fairy tales to teach Spanish and/or English to children. The reading of easy stories is reinforced with comprehension activities, interactive scenarios that promote vocabulary learning, and read-aloud in the same language or in the native language of the child. The app also includes games for reinforcing vocabulary, grammar (e.g., the use of articles), and spelling.
One drawback: it is not free, but a yearly subscription costs $32 or $3.99 a month.
